Think we've left it too late but if we are going to do it you'd think 5 points from the Bath game is a non-negotiable.

Yes,a TBP win gives us a little leeway at Gloc (a point or 2 still needed there though)

After last night's defeat, Saints now have the worst points difference in the league atm...

So the team lying 3rd had got the worst points difference of anyone.

To me that really suggests that most teams are going to be capable of taking points off each other, so I doubt the pack is going to spread much before the end of the season.

To be honest we need to win all our games and hope the others pan out for us.

One loss will be OK if we get some BP I reckon. That's on us getting 5 today though

If the top 3 were decided and we were chasing 4th. I'd agree.

As it is only one team will maybe go unbeaten from now till the end. Two teams putting together 5 team unbeaten streaks now is unlikely. So the team in 4th isn't going unbeaten then we can definitely get there with 1 loss. Saints losing I think means if we get lots of BP's it may even be possible with two losses.

However right now we have a massive game against bottom of the league, however they've put out their strongest side in a long time so it certainly isn't taken for granted! We will have to work hard and earn every point we get today!

A HUGE IF, but if we go unbeaten & Sale get nothing tomorrow vs Sarries, we will still have a shot at playing a Semifinal at Welford Road...

Great win today but as Wigglesworth has pointed out Tigers just have to take one game at a time. Lose to Gloucester with no points and the picture changes again.
Outside Saracens and Sale the other clubs can, on their day win.
It’s a fantastic scrap to get into 3rd and 4th.

Wouldn’t it be funny if we win all our remaining games and Sale implode, leaving us to take 2nd !

We have to stop leaking tries. Our points difference (poor) could make all the ... er difference.

Dont think that points difference will make much difference….win all the games and finish level on points with another team, Tigers would go ahead on games won…..
If we won all the games 28-27 with a Bonus Point…..defence would not be an issue…..need to start scoring tries….regularly

TigerBoy1880 wrote: Mon Feb 27, 2023 7:06 pm I have been looking at the remaining fixtures for all teams and have predicted how many points I think each team will get in their remaining games, thus leaving a final table. This is how it looks. What do you think?

Bristol v Saints 1-4
Tigers v Bath 5-0
Quins v Exeter 1-4
Falcons v Irish 0-5
Sale v Sarries 1-4
Not having a go but 2 out of 5 shows how hard to predict this is.
