I wouldn't want any of them, even if they all came for Fazlets dosh.

Re: Sarries wages, allegedly
Do we KNOW which of these if any, are Sarries marque players? If not and the figures are correct, then they are tieing up over £3 million of the salary cap which doesn't leave much for the other 35 players. I know that there are credits etc but it does seem a big portion of the cake.
Hehehehehehehehe
Re: Sarries wages, allegedly
A full disclosure of their books needs to be finally imposed.
... with a permanent ban from the Premiership to conclude.
Assuming this is remotely correct, of course.

Re: Sarries wages, allegedly
There is no accusation of wrongdoing.
Farrell and Itoje are almost certainly Sarries' marquee players, so paying them £1m or £10m p/year has no impact on their salary cap compliance.
Re: Sarries wages, allegedly
True, lots of scope for inaccuracy
However... Assuming Faz is the marque player, that's £3m for 4 players, remove faz and the 4 already in the 3m and there's 36 players left sharing the £2m. That's £55k each!
And then look at the others, theres a bunch of internationals and long serving guys who are no way going to be on £50k, Goode, Lewington, Lozowski, Earl, Malins, Isiewke etc!
Something special is brewing at Saracens (again....)
Edit - only 1 marque player this year - and in my calcs I've already assumed it's Faz. however it it were 2, there's 37 left and that's £74k each, and that's still clearly not the case!

As Wes says, only one "excluded player". If they win the Premiership the Salary Cap Manager will be seeing all of their books.CrumblingTerrace wrote: ↑Tue Feb 21, 2023 2:27 pmThere is no accusation of wrongdoing.

If they accidentally lose the final in the 79th minute, we'll know they're still not willing to open their books!

As Before when they went down to the Championship, they were not prepared to open their books then. So why would they change now, Unless of course they have been to their local laundrette to get the best wash for their Kit.

Sadly we’ll never know exactly how badly they were abusing the cap back then.

Can't the PRL though?Hot_Charlie wrote: ↑Tue Feb 21, 2023 5:37 pmBecause I doubt the Salary Cap Manager had much power to force them to.
