Freddie was not looking to make a tackle- it was an accidental collision- it wasn’t a tackle.

It's worth pointing out rules on citings have changed now. You no longer get a longer ban by appealing tge decision. So he may as well try
Used to run around with an 11, 14 or 15 on my back.

I would love to see a team tack a stand one of these days, when Peyper pulled out the red card England should have walked off with him

I just don’t understand how you can send someone off for an accidental collision.
Re: 6 Nations 2023
The thing is he couldn't do it quick enough either

Ouch,that's bad. Don't expect a citing though. BTW is Peyper blind?TigerFeetSteve wrote: ↑Sat Mar 18, 2023 7:48 pmhttps://twitter.com/theofficialcox/stat ... 8IpUQ&s=19Tigers86asw wrote: ↑Sat Mar 18, 2023 7:38 pm I just don’t understand how you can send someone off for an accidental collision.

It's actually laughable isn't it? Stood 2 metres away watching it as it happens and... nothing.kpj tiger wrote: ↑Sat Mar 18, 2023 7:56 pmYesScott1 wrote: ↑Sat Mar 18, 2023 7:51 pmOuch,that's bad. Don't expect a citing though. BTW is Peyper blind?TigerFeetSteve wrote: ↑Sat Mar 18, 2023 7:48 pm

How does one go about citing a referee?
Re: 6 Nations 2023
If they do not resind the red, then rugby is finished as a contact sport.

The other element here is if Ludlum went down holding his head, feigned injury, they look at it, player sent off. I know certain players do this but it is not right. We cannot have the outcome dictating if it’s foul play. The TMO appears to be selective about what they look at but if there is an injury they have to look at it.
It’s a flawed system.

Realistically we are going to have to accept diving like football if the officials aren't more observantTigers86asw wrote: ↑Sat Mar 18, 2023 8:32 pmThe other element here is if Ludlum went down holding his head, feigned injury, they look at it, player sent off. Re: 6 Nations 2023
Freddie’s sending off was a perfect storm of unfortunate circumstances ! As such it was sadly the right decision so we must move on ! But good news we have a solution …JVP much improved today …congratulations to Coley but a sadly shadow of his best …no Marcus Smith struck me above all else
