Was it Genges foot?
Think so, was a lot of blood and hard to know if it's just a nose bleed, but if broken or concussion etc then much less likely Heyes will get released which would be a massive loss
Just be ok if we havnt any injuries. Would mean Hurd starting and picking between Ladygaga and Richardson for the bench spot assuming Cronin and Whitcombe are our LH. Some decent depth fortunately

If Cronin injured, West is another good option there
Used to run around with an 11, 14 or 15 on my back.

Heyes hasn't played for several weeks so I'd be surprised if he isn't released just to get minutes under his belt, if England do need him then he's going to be rusty if he doesn't play Vs Sarries.

West, Montoya, Heyes and Whitcombe, Clare, Hurd is two decent sets of front row considering we're missing our starting props.

Heyes won't be released if Sinckler can't train, they will retain enough in the squad to practise scrummaging so min 2 front rows.

If I could put a photo on here I could show you, it is a cut down his forehead over his left eye and down his nose, In my totally unqualified opinion he will be fit for the Wales match

That is definitely good news, hopefully means Heyes can still be released

Dan Cole clearly isn't a finisher, I think he was called up by SB because he had no one else fit, Dan didnt have the best of times in his visit so could SB swap Heyes back to being a finisher if Sinckler is fit to start or Stuart fit, and we have Dan back?

Doubt it. Dan is a solid option and England are short of props that are solid. Heyes is developing nicely but not many tier 1 nations opt for 23 year old tightheads for a reason.

Will Stuart is already ruled out of the 6N I think.

If Borthwick can't replace Macko, he has no choice but to play his best scrummaging tight head at the same time.
Presumably this is why Cole isn't starting and allowing Sinckler to come on and do his stuff in the loose.
If he could select VRP he could start Genge and Cole and bring on VRP and Sinckler to maintain scrummaging and a dynamic prop in the loose through the whole game.

Not one Sarries player released.

Heyes being released is huge for us.

Youngs is also a big plus (though we have a bit more depth at 9 atm with Whiteley & Wolstenholme arrivals)

Only pity IMO is Watson not released, however with Brown having signed and Atkinson having done well at FB, that is important
