He was one of my favourites but seems to have lost something this season, he drops the ball a lot, loses it in contact and has become very reluctant to pass the ball. Come on Harry, wake up.

Maybe some supporters could be less Fraser and more Jones.....

Wiese definitely 'on the run' a lot today, no kidding anyone, mister.

As for Sarries....'We' were the ones who stopped their little game, 'we' were the ones who made them think again....

They don't like it up 'em
Love it!

I’m in the minority that thinks Ben Youngs’ box kick was the right strategy. We’re in our own half, and the ruck is a coin flip at times. Concede a penalty and Sarries boot it to the corner, then the pressure is on. Far better to hoof it and tighten the discipline, get them to play out of their own 22. Good game management!
Cheering on the Tigers in Detroit.
Previously a slower, shorter, less good looking version of Tom Croft.

What l am finding it hard to understand is the way the team played in the first 35 minutes was the best l have seen for some time with the short sharp inter play and quick passes.
Was just great to see.
So why did it all go to pot and the inter play was gone followed by wild long speculative passes, dropped passes were then the order of the day, same players same game nothing had changed except they seemed to loose all they had gained in confidence in the first half.

Valid points. Probably fair to say that Sarries had a rollicking at half time and then significantly raised their game which Tigers had a tough time to handle.

Definitely in the minority , the whole of Welford Rd shouted no ….. 25 seconds left, if you can’t keep the ball for 25 seconds as a professional rugby pack , give up. I’m not sure many other teams would kick the ball away with 25 seconds left, most would trust their ability.

We asked a lot from the pack in the first half, they tired towards the end of the half and by the second Sarries had a) had a rollicking and b) had chance for their analysts to see what we were doing in attack and advise their defence.

Sarries also played really dumb in the first half. They kicked a lot against us, a team that had set up our backline with that in mind. Once Sarries started playing wider and mixing their kick return strategy they were able to find more space as they moved our backline around.

Good stuff from Wigglesworth, first time I've been really impressed with him as head coach but today we mixed up the game plan and took advantage of the opposition well. It was a bit rusty and tight in the second half but it's a different way for us to play. If we can start diversifying more we'll be back to looking more dangerous.

Yeah yeah! And I've got number 2 son asking me if I'd call Anderson and Broad Dad's army after their antics in NZ!

.........better just give up the punditry. I know when I'm beaten.

Excellent first half.
Second half less so, missed too many first up tackles. Sarries doubled up on Wiese which contained him but we had no plan or the personnel to exploit the space this created.
Hung on like it mattered, well done for that. As for those 2 dreadful box kicks, the first of which put half the team off side nearly cost us the game.

Totally agree, I think the problem with the crowd was that his previous 2 box kicks had gone straight up in the air and cost 2 penalties.
Superb win showing true tigers effort and grit.
