I'd willingly offer my services.
But being 70 plus I think I would struggle to do 90 seconds never mind 90 minutes
Oh and before you start thinking he must be pretty fit still ......................I was referring to the warm up not the actual match

I am quite keen to offer my services as the creative number 10 but only as long as we do a Kibworth - that is play the 9 man rugby we did when Staffy was SH

Big Dai has already nailed down tight head prop and Glenn has put his hand up for centre, so Porter and Heyes may have to be happy being on the bench.

I’ve just passed a most vigorous fitness test and managed to bend down and up again, a feat in itself and at something resembling 90 degrees then pushed my sofa so firmly against the wall that no heat is now coming out of the radiator (That said I haven’t switched them on since last October!)
The sofa hinged a little but I took the strain.

I have a sterner test against the fridge freezer later this evening but I’m feeling buoyed by my earlier success

Please pencil me in at loosehead

I was a good lineout jumper in the second row back in the day, but that was before lifting, I might get a nose bleed at those sort of heights................................................... :smt003

I can play 14 as long as I can use my inhaler or if you prefer I can keep the bench warm.

Someone asked for a defib. I can bring a leisure battery and some jump leads.

I'll sub for Robbo; so that will be 2 lots of 90 seconds. Started there then moved to 6; if the scrum took a long time you could have a rest on the lock.
Presumably, shorts will have pockets for lighters, inhalers hip flasks etc?

May I also suggest we stay on the pitch at half time for the port and brandy the subs will bring on; that walk to the changing room and back might finish half of us off.

Can I suggest we pool our match fee's into bribing the timekeeper.

Can just see the protests: "It's not been two minutes since kickoff, how can it be half time?!?!"
Used to run around with an 11, 14 or 15 on my back.

I'm not volunteering. I'd be injured quicker than DK in last season's semi.

Interesting that it's not a 6N weekend, so I presume we won't have any England players.

So, we're maybe looking at:

Cronin
Montoya
Hurd
Wells
Henderson
Martin
Reffell
Wiese (maaaaaybe?)
Edwards
Pollard
Simmons
Scott
Cusick
Potter
Brown
