Looks like we'll be at home vs Quins or Edinburgh?

Yep, looks like Munster would need a big win to overtake us and would expect Toulouse to win that comfortably at home.

Likely the loss against Ospreys doesn’t really have any material impact on the competition, doesn’t make it any less frustrating!

Munster would need a big win (but not too big... otherwise we stay above Toulouse)
Used to run around with an 11, 14 or 15 on my back.

It means we will be away in the QF if we win in the next round. Home SF though if we were to win that. Beaten Ospreys and it would've been a home QF and an away SF.

If that is the case it could turn out to be a blessing in disguise depending on how things shake out.

Why is it a complete 180 to last season with all these games being lost late on? What’s flipped that switch? Can’t be just bad luck and refs/TMO/Austin all the time!
Lets not overreact. We essentially virtually beat a Welsh side in a game that wasn't must win with some injuries and them going the full beans.

Let's look at our scrum going backwards at the end there.

We had our 3rd choice Tighthead (think Hurd is now above Leatigaga as a TH?) and our 5th choice Loosehead on the park. No disrespect to them but they were always going to struggle.

An unlucky intercept kept them in it and some inexplicable calls, like how was that not held up over the line amd a dropout to us on like 78min?!?
We had a chance there, won a scrum but Youngs completely mucked it up so we did not clear our lines.

We'll probably end up with Leinster away in the QF, so not much of a blessing. :smt005

I probably wouldn't even bother watching that! If I did it should come with an 18 certificate :smt005

You sure? We’re likely to come 4th and would have likely come 3rd if we had won. Surely need to be top 2 to get home QF.

They can be beaten, although most likely not by us. Their scrum is extremely suspect so it wouldn't surprise me if a SA team was able to knock them off if they play super physical, the other aspect will be how healthy Ireland stay in the 6 nations if they pick up a few injuries the task becomes less daunting.

Yes,maybe that's the case with 1st and 2nd then. Either way it doesn't excuse the loss (not saying that's your angle btw)

That was their second choice front row v Gloc last week if you are referencing that game,or certainly not their best 3 combination

Lol that wasn't their second choice front row, Porter, Sheehan and Alaalatoa are all their current first choice players, only Furlong would be ahead of Alaalatoa if fit. Unless they are hiding some real unknown gems I fail to see how 2/3 of the Ireland front row wouldn't be considered their first choice.
