Cusick is pretty strong he just took a head on collision stationary and came off the better of the two

Honestly could see Woodward and Cusick getting game time for the seniors this season.

Completely agree. More I see of Woodward more impressed I am and Cusick seems to have filled out since last time I saw him. Seriously impressed by Carnduff tooRagingBull wrote: ↑Sat Jun 24, 2023 2:17 pm Honestly could see Woodward and Cusick getting game time for the seniors this season.

I could easily see all of our U20 contingent stepping up next season

Re: U20's 6 Nations
Ended 34:34.
Really liked what I saw of Woodward, Cardiff and Cusick in particular.
Can see Woodward getting a few minutes at 12, Cardiff getting more minutes at 6 and Cusick either at 13 or wing. Think Cusick is better at 13 being honest - good gas, strong in contact and a nice boot.
Chessum stood up well, leadership seemed pretty good. Finn Theobald-Thomas looked a prospect. Lineout went astray in the first half, but he muscled in defence well. Get him working under Julian, Nic, Charlie and the coaches and I think his arrows will come on leaps and bounds.
Tough for England to be so close to a win but a draw probably a fair reflection.
A mention to Fasogbon - a unit in the scrum! I seriously hope we (selfishly) are looking at him. If not us then he will get a good contact post this tournament you'd hope.

Nice conveyor belt of talent coming through. Lewis Chessum is not only a good player impressed by his captaincy too

Agreed, will be interesting to see how we fit Carnduff, Josh Manz, Illione and Koroiyadi in with Leibenburg, Reffell and Weise

Very much so.
In the Liebenberg mould for sure.
