Post by TigerFeetSteve »

Watson
Potter
Scott
Kelly
Nadolo
Atkinson
Wigglesworth
Cronin
Clare
Cole
Wells
Green
Martin
Liebenberg
Cracknell

Oghre
Leatigaga
Heyes
Henderson

Gonna go out on a limb and say we'll see Kelly, if not Ashton 14, Potter 13, Scott 12 and Cokanasiga 23.
Used to run around with an 11, 14 or 15 on my back.

Think we may see Pollard at least on the bench, following Atkinson appearance in PRC.
Also Montoya and Wiese on the bench.

He originally indicated he was hoping beginning of November, has there been a set back

He said that no risks were being taken with this return and that was a couple of weeks ago.

Simmons was a travelling reserve vs Sarries too I believe so maybe a bench spot for him?

I’d expect to see Pollard before Kelly but hopefully we’ll see one or the other.

I can see us either putting Montoya or Oghre on the bench with Clare starting (depends whether Oghre has had time to bed into the calls or not imo).

Can see Wiese getting the week off with Cracknell, Martin, Hanro and Jansen getting the 4 back row slots.

I’d love to see Atkinson given the reigns at 10 too but think Borthwick will go for Burns. Then either Charlie or Handre at 22 depending on the matter’s fitness. I’d hope for Charlie at 10 and Handre at 22 and give Freddie a break before Europe but that’s just me.

Centres and wingers depends on who is available at 13.

Intrigued as we appear to have genuine competition for most places again!

Also Montoya and Wiese on the bench.
Surely Wiese playing against England at the weekend....or have I missed something?

Wiese released by the Boks as this weekends game falls outside the ‘official’ international window, so I’m led to believe…

Yes just seen it thanks. A shame really for England as, whilst they can only play the team put out against them, I feel it would be a slightly hollow victory with 6 SA players excluded.....should England win.

It was the week before he dropped out due to HIA protocols but was playing last weekend.
