If Borthers is offered the top job then « adequate compensation » is a minor matter. That of paramount importance is a more than adequate replacement. I don’t know what Vern Cotter’s doing at the moment, but I’d be more than happy if he were to be approached.

I see the two as inter linked, I would want enough from the RFU to allow us to make lucrative offers to our top choices.

Adequate level of compensation is crucial as to whom we can afford to appoint moving forward

I would assume Brett Deacon would take interim charge with help from those that remain

Blackett is currently employed by the Scarlets.

Tigers cancel their press today...
Page does not exist TFS
It was just a tweet from the journalist Chris Jones saying Tigers had cancelled their press conference. It's now been deleted

Thnaks but as we know only too well the fact that a coach is under contract means didly squat in reality

You obviously have a different idea of compensation to me.

No, that is simply one side of the position. The RFU want to pay as little as possible, we want to get paid as much as possible, common sense does not come into it, negotiations do and a figure that we agree will be based on the success or otherwise of said negotiations. The RFU do not have total control. See my post on the other thread about how it works and the comparison to a football transfer (which is effectively what this is).
