Premiership Games - 28th to 30th October 2022

Post by Greenwhiteandred »

Good game at Glaws - Glaws very clinical , Exeter having most of the possession but huffing and puffing and struggling to get wide. Glaws defence pretty strong.

For me the ref had authority, trusted his judgement, had good chemistry with the TMO and was usually right. Must be something wrong..... plus please can we have LRS?

We'd moan too much on here about his defence......

LRZ was mustard tonight …… we can’t sign him though unless he wants to give up playing for the WRFU

Agree about the ref tonight - consistent which is all I ever ask for - i always accept variations in interpretations, but just be consistent - and he was

As Austin said if the opposition know you’re quicker than anything they’ve got it’s a great start.
He has added to his game, off load for the try was sublime, and it’s what someone like Radwan needs to look at. How to defend against him, I hope on Christmas Eve we send plenty of high kicks his way and some big runners up his channel. If he is stuck at the bottom of a ruck he can’t run at you.
Exeter were disappointing and sorely missed Slades wide passing game.

Sir Leal again another consistent no frills performance, I think he did our game v Quins.

One of the best refs I’ve seen.

Adam Leal is a very good referee coming through nicely. He did a good job in our game Vs Quins and again last night. Hopefully he gets more games as the season goes on. Him and Smales both deserve more chances.

Retalick red carded v Japan for a dangerous clear out to the back of a neck. Can see a minimum ban of 3 weeks.

Was that game televised anywhere? I couldn't find it

There was a 16 minute highlights clip on YouTube, very narrow win by around 4 points for New Zealand
