Leicester Lions away in Devon at Barnestaple and Hinckley away in Bristol at Clifton ( Ellis Genge's old club) Loughboro' Students at home to Old Redcliffians another west country side.

Saw some highlights of Hinckley away win at Exeter University. Hinckley lost away to Clifton, Loughboro' Students beat Old Redcillians at home and Leicester Lions had a good away win at Barnstaple.

Hinckley are off to Newport(Salop) in the west midlands this weekend and must fancy their chances against one of the league new boys. Loughboro' Students are also away in Brum to play another promoted side in Bournville, the students will have to up their game.
League leaders Leicester Lions are at home on Saturday against promotion rivals Redruth who travel up from Cornwall, this could be the match of the day with both sides playing really well.
For those not watching the AI's and fancy some live rugby on a Saturday afternoon, if you contact the club, there's a pre-match dinner available too.

Hinckley manage a close victory at home winning 24-20 against Luctonians whilst Leicester Lions continue with their winning ways beating Loughborough Students 28-34 at the Students ground.
Leicester Lions still top the league in National 2 West.
Next week Leicester Lions are at home to Stourbridge, Loughboro' Student's are away to Barnstaple and Hinckley are away to Dings Crusaders.

For those in the know is it a big step up from Nat. 2 to Nat. 1. Going back 10 or 15 years it was huge and too big a barrier for some clubs.

Lions have already recruited with an eye on promotion as part of a 5 year plan, I think it is now the 3rd year in the plan, George Watkins who played for Bristol in the Championship is one such recruit, he scored yesterday

For those not travelling to Swansea, Hinckley and Loughboro' Students at home this weekend, Hinck's entertain Old Redcliffians and the Students play Redruth, assuming both can get through the weather from the West Country. Leicester Lions, who are still league leaders are travelling in the opposite direction to play Exeter University.

Hinckley's game was lost to the weather, but Loughboro' Students lost in a dramatic ending when Redruth kicked a penalty on 80 minutes to win , ended up 32-33.

National league two hits the half way mark this weekend with local derbies for Leicestershire's teams, Loughboro' Students are at home to bottom side Stourbridge, whilst Hinckley travel to Blaby to face fierce rivals Leicester Lions. Hincks, lost their home game to the Lions, so will no doubt be after the league leaders to try and spoil their pre Christmas game.
Lions sit top of the league having only lost one game so far this season, are on 61 points. Hinckley sit in third place having lost two games and drawn one on 46 points. The Students sit in eighth position having lost seven games and drawn two, on 36 points.
