Wouldn’t it be good to inflict Sale’s first defeat of the season?!! It ain’t going to be easy, however. Let’s hope it’ll be as close to a full house as possible, then we’ll be in with a chance.

I thought it had been said that he came off for a HIA?

Indeed our centre options look a bit light.

Think Scott will be at 13 next week in light of this.

We don’t know the extent of Pollard’s knock, he may be fine.Potter and Nadolo back in for sure.

Can’t argue much with that team, especially the pack. I doubt Montoya will make the 23 but wouldn’t be surprised to see Wiese make the bench.

Sadly the England training squad this week couldn’t have come at a worse time.
I will be amazed if the coaches can turn around our fortunes v Sale given less coaching time and our ever lengthening injury list. Porter being injured along with Kelly, Pollard, maybe Watson and Scott is such a blow.
Doubt if Weise or Montoya will play either.
All we can do is get down to Welford Road and cheer louder than ever.

Not sure if it’s been confirmed, but he definitely walked off unaided and strolled off the pitch as if being taken for a HIA. Obviously countering that is the fact a HIA allows a reversal of subs so bringing on a Hooker seems an odd call.

There's definitely a fair bit of chat on the match thread about if it was a HIA...

There's a bit at the end of this article from Bothwicks interview, but that could be anything.

Watson injured ? I don’t think so.

Thought I saw Scott too in amongst the travelling reserves.

Sure as eggs are eggs Wiese and Montoya will at least be on the bench v Sale, as long as they aren’t injured.

Re Pollard it may be that the game was dead by then so no point in risking anyone further.
