Sarries backs - starting and bench - look outstanding.

Not that ours look too shabby either.

As you'd expect a really good match up with two top teams.

You would say too close to call on paper, good job it’s being played on plastic. Happy with all the match ups.
From what I have of Sarries they are playing a more open style this season
Not sure on the forecast are we expecting the storm to have cleared by then.

Kini and Cokanasiga first starts this year lots to love.

Mega bench!
Weak centres again with no cover on the bench :(
Not sure if this is tongue in cheek or not. Gopperth has not done a lot wrong, Cocanasinga deserves a shot. You have someone with international experience at 12 on the bench and Murimurivalu can move in 1.
If anything you could say you’ve got 3 fullbacks in your back 3.
Not tongue in cheek at all both worthy centres but not up to what we want, although i agree Phil could be a jewel but yet to be seen

Hardly weak though and Pollard is more than capable of playing 12

Phil Cokanasiga looks an excellent prospect. Tough tomorrow vs a superb centre partnership but he could prove a great addition.

3 fullbacks in the team suggests we want to be as secure as possible under the high ball, especially if it's wet I'd expect lots of kicking.
Used to run around with an 11, 14 or 15 on my back.

I bet he's chomping at the bit. Has looked good off the bench so far and he'll know that a good showing this weekend will make it hard for Borthwick to drop him. If he wasn't ambitious and keen to make a mark he wouldn't have left LI.

I was impressed by Mr Smales the other day. As for the others especially Kitt... :(

I think though with the squad we have out, despite the officials and the "pitch," we have a good chance. COYT!

Unless Gopparth gets injured, I don't think Pollard would play 12 tomorrow. Gopparth is better at 12 (than 10) and Pollard is better at 10.

And as I saw mentioned the other day it's likely the Pollard 10 Gopperth 12 pairing will likely work better than with Burns at 10 :smt017

Off to Sarries tomorrow and the forecast is for a dry afternoon with a temperature of 18C.
Let’s hope Watson and Pollard are 100% fit.
With no Nadalo we don’t have anyone to get over the gainline or tie players in!
Interesting!

Different surface different team. I wouldn’t underestimate the ability of Cracknell and Cocanasinga to get over the gain line

Can’t wait for this one, a quite different looking tigers starting 15, Which I think is a great idea (I’d hate to play Borthwick at chess) as it will be a different prospect for sarries and their prep for the game. A little of the unknown.

Great to see PC get a start, he’s fully earned that and looked very good for us thus far. Hoping Pollard/Watson are fully fit and can show us what they can do.

I’ll be keeping an eye on the link play/development between Watson and Steward as that could very likely be a combo in a white shirt at the World Cup.

As usual the pack who gets dominance usually ends up on the right side of the result and it will be another serious test here for us. They’ll be looking for revenge.

Can’t wait to see the bench impact where I think we’ve definitely got the edge.

Only concern for me is the lack of big ball carriers who can make the hard yards. Nadolo made a huge difference to us when he came in after Exeter. We don’t really have any big carriers other than Cracknell/PC.

As usual hoping the game isn’t decided by poor officiating, and the teams can impose their games.

I fancy us to squeak this one by a couple of points in the final few mins. Get the pacemakers ready…

I do understand the needs for gain line breakers, but often that is as much about the speed of ruck ball produced. Even if we only just break the line if that magic sub 2 second ruck can be produced, there is enough pace with Murimurivalu, Cocanasinga, Watson, Steward, to trouble any side
