Who says he needs one. He has had time off during the Championship, wasn’t picked for every game and didn’t complete any of the games he was picked in.

I really rate Tizard. Big unit, intelligent, good hands and deceptively quick. Yes deserved the England call up.

Excellent prospect, I was just saying I don’t think you can say he can be bracketed with Itoje and Isekwe yet.

Whilst Koch is a huge loss, would be to any side, in Marco Riccioni I actually think they have a TH with the talent to be in the bracket with the best international THs in the world in a couple of years. Sadly he's not fit at the moment but his natural talent at the scrum and round he park is very impressive.

Eduardo Bello is also a good TH who's currently unavailable. So in Judge and Clarey they are down to 3rd and 4th choice THs. Or Tigers equivalent of Hurd and Nephi packing down on his weaker side. I'd hope Tigers can target that.

Itoje and Isiekwe out simultaneously are brutal blows. It will likely force McFarland (another huge talent there) into the second row so they lose their best replacement for Isiekwe at blindside as well.

1.Cronin
2.Clare
3.Heyes
4.Chessum
5.Green
6.Martin
7.Cracknell
8.Hanro (c)

9.JvP
10.Burns

11.Ashton
12.Porter
13.Cokanasiga
14.Potter
15.Steward

16.Taufete'e
17.Nephi
18.Cole
19.Wells
20.Reffell
21.Youngs
22.Gopperth
23.Nadolo

Presuming Kelly and Scott are still out I'd go with something like that.

I'd rotate Reffell to the bench again for a week before Sale (Curry x 2) and Quins (playing two opensides in Kenningham and Evans) in consecutive weeks.

The issue is do Tigers grant him leave as they do each year for the majority of the squad at the end of each season? The issue is that he has had no leave just Rugby all year. This is the price of signing players albeit immense important players that play in the Championship

I do take your point. IMO only it comes down to the individual. The fact that he has been inside an international camp for a few weeks, so has almost certainly had a lighter training load than less of his Tigers colleagues, he has certainly missed a match during the championship window, and possibly the 2nd Welsh test, and is usually replaced around the 50 minute mark should stand in his favour. I’m sure that before any decision is made for both him and Montoya they will be fully assed by the S&C and medical teams.

I would say both Wiese and Montoya are owed and deserving of a holiday before they return to Tigers

Looked that way in the highlights v Gloucester maul defence seemed to struggle too. I would imagine their new Pumas tighthead isn’t available yet.
I haven't watched that game back yet but if Gloucester had good success against them hopefully it might be an area we can take advantage of as well.
Any team (that abides by the salary cap) would feel a significant loss of both Itoje and Isiekwe, given they are two inernational standard players (Itoje is World class not just international class)

I know that most on here disagree but I still see second row as a huge weakness of ours
Certainly 2nd row is an area we should be hopeful of having ascendancy.

Wouldn’t surprise me to see a certain Springbok 8 on the bench.
Also an Argentine hooker

With the development of Chessum and the likes of Wells, Green and Snyman, plus Henderson and Chessum coming through I wouldn’t call it a huge weakness. In fact I would say they more than held their own against Saints both of who’s locks have been named in England training squad.

Sarries away I don't expect to see any of the Rugby Championship guys come in, honestly can see him resting some of the England players tbh.

Reckon maybe
1. Cronin, 2. Clare, 3. Cole
4. Wells, 5. Green
6. Martin, 7. Cracknell, 8. Liebenberg
9. Wigglesworth, 10. Burns
12. Gopperth, 13. Scott
11. Potter, 14. Nadolo, 15. Ashton

It’s a very fair point RB. It’s a long season and we are looking at finishing in the top 2.

Wiese possibly having some dental work done (in Leicester so he's definitely back) if his Instagram story is anything to go by which suggests he'll probably not play this weekend
Used to run around with an 11, 14 or 15 on my back.
