Have just watched him walk on to the pitch at Old Trafford. Tear in my eye. What a truly great bloke.

Really made you choke with tears when he was speaking….£1.3 million and counting raised…..an incredible effort from Kev and all the team.

Thread Title should be changed, He's a Legend, full stop, not just for MND (but I do get the point..)

Herculean effort, £1,459,824.50 +£272,629.84 Gift Aid as I just looked.

Put that to his earlier efforts and that is one determined friend.

An absolute pleasure to donate even in financially tight times, and an even bigger pleasure/privilege to have Sir Kev associated with our club - what a role model.
Faithless is he that says farewell when the road darkens.

Turned out to see him in Leeds. Quite a few Tigers fans present. He is inspirational.

If this guy received all the credit in the world, it still wouldn't be enough! what an amazing man!

Also makes me smile that even if i run down to the local shops id be hanging out my backside, Super Kev barely breaks a sweat! what a machine, a role model for generations, both present and future

Absolutely brilliant and what a team player for the league and union game.
Just looked now and it is £1,941,454 nearly £2 million and when you add the gift aid it is already £2.3 million to the cause. Oh Sir Kev you must be invited back to the Palace or Windsor to become a real "Sir"!
Well done. Angus....... :smt023

I certainly hope that at tomorrow's match we have a two minute applause for them.
One minute in appreciation of Sir Kevin's excellent run and one minute for dear Doddie too..
Let this further motivate the team to a great win.

Doddie's sad passing has made it much more important that the Sir Kev title actually comes into existence asap so his close friend Rob can see his best mate's amazing efforts are properly recognised. I am sure that Kev doesn't care about awards but to see the look on Rob's face when the sword falls would be a just reward in itself.

Totally agree the more Kevin is referred to as "Sir Kevin" the better, but I do hope the sword is lowered by William Prince of Wales or King Charles ~ Thank goodness Andrew is sidelined and not running wild with a sword! :smt074
