That was a superb standard.

Not sure if we have got better or they have faded but seem to have fixed any issues

I agree, on the other side Hartley has a huge future.

Ilione would have been my choice. Absolutely relentless.

I have a season ticket but travel from Biggleswade. I thought it was a long way to travel for a 7pm B-team game.

I’m an idiot.

Certainly entertaining and high on quality in some areas.

They said before the game JVP and Ollie Chessum both played in PRC last season, and look where they are now.

Overall a good win. Our production line of forwards and 9s continues. Walsh is a good footballer and is a work in progress, so let's not be too critical.

Has he played some of his rugby at 9, he didn’t look a very natural 10 to me.

Not sure about 9, but I think he's played at 15

I know there is competition in the back row, but I do hope Ilione gets a chance soon to step up to the first team. If he continues to develop and gain experience he'll be some addition (as will Chessum junior).

I think that's a fantastic performance. Not because they were excellent throughout, but because they really had to fight to stay in it during the 1st half, and then they adjusted and turned the game right around.

Strong collective defensive effort, and a big shift from the pack, particularly in the 2nd half. Chessum, Illione, Jansen and Edwards stood out.

Walsh will take a lot from that game. It was a rough night out of hand, but something clear to work on, and for me has showed more potential than Lancaster already.

Nice to see JVP, Chessum, Reffell and others of the young lads in the crowd (not on the bench) supporting the team. Such a small thing, but such a big part in building a club / team spirit.

Good team performance, not everything went to plan but work rate and fight were there in spades. Entertaining game.

Jansen really stepped up and provided the type of display I hope he's going to make a regular occurrence. Physical and dominant on both sides of the ball

Ilione was everywhere, looks a future international. I'm hoping he gets some game time during the internationals as we don't have many that can get over the ball but he's definitely one of them. Four turnovers and a try is a good haul.

Edwards, plays like someone who's 30 not someone who's 20. With JVP and Youngs in the England squad he looks like a good fit for first team action.

Chessum Jnr, starting to look like his older brother round the pitch. A real gem coming through there. We could soon have more lock quality that we know what to do with.

Josh Manz seemed to be everywhere. Good work rate from him. Saumaki got involved more than he normally does and his performance was all the better for it. Hope he uses that as a template to keep building from.
