Re: Womens Team
Women's team kicking off at almost the same time as the men's team on Saturday. Likely to be our biggest test of the season, away at Cheltenham. A victory should be enough to secure top spot for us. Hopefully things warm up a little bit by the weekend.

Re: Womens Team
Our Italian speedster Lucrezia Iavarone has been called up to an Italy training camp next week! Scored a belter to seal our win against Loughborough Town at WR a few weeks ago.
I think that's our first bit of international recognition we've had since our program has started.

Looks like we’ve got approval to play in the top league!

Re: Womens Team
Is here any way, other than actually being there, that I can monitor these games on the day? Live scores etc. England rugby never shows anything until after the game has finished. Notwithstanding acceptance for Premier 15s today IS the biggest game of the season for the girls.

12-12 after 50mins. Tough game, as expected.

Excellent result!
Great to have been tested, and having to come from behind, against a good side like that.
Barring something drastic, that should be enough for top spot.

Re: Womens Team
this season Radio Leicester have a dedicated reporter for LCFC women's team, a young girl who is either studying Sports media or just passed, I wonder if they will find someone similar to report on the Women's team for next season

Re: Womens Team
I will write to Board of Directors. Always found they are good 'responders'. The girls are doing a great job. I do appreciate once in the 15's then this will not be such an issue on match day.Jimmy Skitz wrote: ↑Sun Dec 18, 2022 3:23 pm this season Radio Leicester have a dedicated reporter for LCFC women's team, a young girl who is either studying Sports media or just passed, I wonder if they will find someone similar to report on the Women's team for next season

Re: Womens Team
Back at it tomorrow, after a month's break. We're playing at Lichfield RUFC at 1530 against Worcester. Lots of our players are Lichfield alumni. Free entry, I think.
