Big game away at Novos on Saturday. We've built a small buffer at the top, but defeat would drag us back into the mix, and I suspect we'll need to be better than we were against Loughborough.

Have a peep at number 19 for us! :smt031

That's very encouraging, keep it up Ladies! How does our standard compare to top division, would the team survive at the higher level?

I think we'd need a fair bit of strengthening to be regularly competitive in the Prem15s. Mostly just some more experienced players to build the spine of the team, and a couple of solid kickers.

After todays WC result, I wonder if Emily could be enticed to sign for us, does she still have future WC ambitions?

I would be very surprised if Scaz doesn't try and make the 2025 WC.

Doesn't mean there isn't a chance of her playing for us once we're accepted into the top tier.

Tigers ladies will definitely have to strengthen considerably if they get accepted for premier 15’s

Sure, but there's no reason that couldn't happen within the next couple of years. The competition is set for a revamp next year, and we'll be keen to get straight in the door.

It'd happen immediately if required I suspect. The competition has been around long enough now for players to want to move on given the right offer from the new club. The tie up with Lichfield should mean that for those not quite ready or at the level to step up to the elite competition are still able to get good quality coaching, development and rugby and aren't just cast adrift.

Not sure but I think Emily is now with Loughborough, they are tied up with Saints and Sam Vesty is there and is their backs coach, so Emily might want to go there.

I was talking more generally rather than specifically towards Emily Scarratt.

That said, the Leicester lady might want to play for Tigers. :smt003
