Ealing Women seem to be starting with some big signings...
We announced our coaching team yesterday, wonder if the women will be announcing a couple of signings

Re: Womens Team
We've confirmed our coaching line-up for next season. We have 3 new additions, to go along with Vicky Macqueen, defence coach Steve Hanna, and S&C coach Lewis Knight.
Former Leicester academy player and Gloucester back Tom Hudson joins as a 'senior coach' from his current roles at Ampthill and Cheltenham.
Former Jersey and Hartpury hooker Luke Stratford joins as forwards coach from the head coach role at Longlevens (who seem to be having a strong season) and Hartpury University. He's also the partner of Red Roses lock Zoe Aldcroft. (Potential signing!?)
Lastly, Red Roses legend Rocky Clark is joining as scrum coach. I think that speaks for itself.

From what I can find, they are a young but well regarded set of coaches, with experience in the women's game. Poaching Hudson from this season's rivals Cheltenham looks like good business. I was impressed by them in the Twickenham final. I like that we've gone for two set-piece specialists too, as that will be a big step up next season.

Re: Womens Team
About time they started announcing some players, considering their only team at the moment appears to be Brunel students. Hell of a start though!TigerFeetSteve wrote: ↑Wed May 10, 2023 9:36 am https://twitter.com/ealingtfwomen/statu ... _olMA&s=19

Re: Womens Team
Our turn for a player announcement, and our first signing is Meg Jones!

Really strong pick, that. Great attacking flyhalf, good boot, and versatile.
Though I wonder if she's fully switching focus back to 15s, with Paris Olympics next year, or if she's looking to the Red Roses squad ahead of 2025.

Great news
Re: Womens Team
Another signing announced today, Celia Quansah, England and Team GB Sevens player. A good signing, who also happens to be the partner of yesterday's announced signing, Megan Jones. Welcome to the Tigers family!

Re: Womens Team
Thought that would happen. Interesting quirk in the demographic in the women's game that players sometimes come as package deals.

Re: Womens Team
We've also signed Scotland international loosehead Leah Bartlett.
Another strong signing, and centrally contracted, which is a big deal in the women's game.
Born in Loughborough, a former Lightning player, and a Tigers supporter.

Well if it isn't Scarratt it will be anticlimax & you would guess unlikely to ever happen.TigerFeetSteve wrote: ↑Mon May 15, 2023 12:10 pm https://twitter.com/TigersWomens/status ... GVxaA&s=19

To win is not as important as playing with style!
