Predictions for 2022-23 season
Here’s my prediction for final league table for 22-23.
1. Saracens
2. Harlequins
3. Tigers
4. Northampton
5. Gloucester
6. Exeter
7 London Irish
8. Bristol
9. Wasps
10. Sale
11. Bath
12. Newcastle
13. Worcester
Think we could be more affected by international call-ups next season hence 3rd place finish.

1. Saracens
2. Leicester (win the playoffs)
3. Northampton
4. Harlequins
5. Sale
6. Exeter
7. Gloucester
8. Bristol
9. London Irish
10. Wasps
11. Worcester
12. Bath
13. Newcastle
Think Quins will struggle without England players more than most as don't think they have the depth, but think they'll scrape into the playoffs

Used to run around with an 11, 14 or 15 on my back.
Re: Predictions for 2022-23 season
I see Bristol being a bit of a force this season with the signings they have made, I still see top place tho going to Tigers, Sarries or Quins, a lot will be down to injuries during international periods, be great if Jimmy Gop could get a winners medal in surely his final season!!
Re: Predictions for 2022-23 season
Be nice to see Sarries finish outside the top 4

Re: Predictions for 2022-23 season
They got away very lightly with the international call ups last season. Having both Vunipolas all season made a huge difference for them. Add in Itoje and Farrell missing for more than half their games and it's tough.
1. Sale
2. Tigers
3. Saints
4. Sarries
5. Glaws
6. Chiefs
7. Quins - not a lot of depth and international call ups will hurt them
8. LI
9. Bristol - Sincks and Genge missing for a lot of the season
10. Wasps
11. Bath
12. Falcons
13. Wuss

Re: Predictions for 2022-23 season
Hard to predict with so many changes, Barf have a new coach and Sarrie's are running out of young players coming through, not sure Exeter have done anything to change their fortunes, where as Bristol have made a few decent signings. Sale have lost Faff de Klerk, they are different side without him, who knows how the going on's at Worcester and Wasps will affect the players and coaches. Finally Tigers have had a couple of key players leave, not worried about the players replacing them, but how will we get on with a new skipper? Saints and Quinns, are sort of in the middle, not so much in the league, but in their lack of real changes, Saints have new coaches, be interesting to see how they go.

Can’t argue with most of this.ay2oh wrote: ↑Sun Jul 24, 2022 5:08 pm Here’s my prediction for final league table for 22-23.

Perhaps swap Tigers & Quins, drop Wasps below Sale & Bath and toss a coin between the bottom two.
Re: Predictions for 2022-23 season
1 Leicester
2 Saracens - depth is impressive and still animals in defence
3 Gloucester - Looked very good last season and are on the up
4 Northampton Saints - exciting rugby but not got enough world class to win
5 Sale - lost SA talents but Ford could be key if fit
6 Harlequins - a lot of internationals to be lost
7 Exeter - lose a lot of Internationals, teams aware to their play now
8 London Irish - impressive last season in parts but leaked tries at will
9 Bristol - lose front row with England and defensively frail
10 Wasps - losing some quality and will miss Willis with England
11 Worcester - some good signings but will take time to gel
12 Bath - lost a lot of quality and have a few injuries
13 Newcastle - only one high quality signing and not much depth

Re: Predictions for 2022-23 season
Big question mark on Saints for the coming season: they have had big changes in both coaching (Boyd having stood down) and players, with a number of familiar faces having left.

Re: Predictions for 2022-23 season
Quins will have done very well to finish second given Smith, Marler and Dombrandt will miss a lot of the club games. The big Bok 12 is back in international favour meaning he won't be seen until November. Their two starting locks left in the summer and only one replacement has come in. They have three hookers on the books but only one has any real experience at Prem level and he might not be available until game week 3.Dokie wrote: ↑Mon Jul 25, 2022 9:01 amCan’t argue with most of this.ay2oh wrote: ↑Sun Jul 24, 2022 5:08 pm Here’s my prediction for final league table for 22-23.

I would be very surprised if Sale finish in the top four let alone top.
