Sam Wolstenholme also in training, first shot I've seen of him (supposedly before he joined us he had a foot injury)
With him being the only one in the squad without a squad photo (even West, Whiteley & Brown who joined after him have them) I think it probably meant he was injured until recently.

Wolstenholme warmed up in full kit as a reserve for both the Ospreys and Saints fixture.TigerFeetSteve wrote: ↑Mon Feb 06, 2023 9:24 pm Sam Wolstenholme also in training, first shot I've seen of him (supposedly before he joined us he had a foot injury)

Last we heard 10 week injury, this was from press not officially so may not be exactly right.

Kelly expected out for a while, but is expected back before the end of the season.
Also got to think at least one of Wells & Green are injured, probably both.
With Liebenberg a severe doubt at the start of the week now in the starting team you would think Martin in the back row would have made sense if that had been possible.
I also suspect that Porter has a knock as I suspect he was planned to start 12 this weekend and Gopperth is a stand in

Think we can virtually certainly say that Wells and Porter were injured with Green highly likely injured too.
The graphics had Wells starting, Porter 12 & Martin 6 with Liebenberg post holiday on the bench. Fully explains the captaincy, likely Liebenberg was always just rested not him that came back from an injury.
So adding Wells, Green & Porter onto the post on page 1.

Think he was in full kit today so may well have been the reserve hooker if Montoya or Clare was injured.

If he could be back for the LI game that would be beneficial. His more mobile style would suit us well there. If he's benching as back up for Montoya it gives us two hookers who are a pest at the breakdown.TigerFeetSteve wrote: ↑Sun Feb 19, 2023 7:41 pmThink he was in full kit today so may well have been the reserve hooker if Montoya or Clare was injured.

Plus his ability to cover backrow may well be useful with our shortage of lock/back rows atm.sam16111986 wrote: ↑Sun Feb 19, 2023 7:45 pmIf he could be back for the LI game that would be beneficial. I suspect Pollard will need to be added to the list, hope not.

Good point though Jansen and Ilione could both come into the squad as well so we shouldn't be to short when Reffell is away with Wales.TigerFeetSteve wrote: ↑Sun Feb 19, 2023 7:51 pmPlus his ability to cover backrow may well be useful with our shortage of lock/back rows atm.sam16111986 wrote: ↑Sun Feb 19, 2023 7:45 pmIf he could be back for the LI game that would be beneficial. Would love to know if Kini and Cocasigina are injured or just not selected.
