Re: 22/23 Injury & Suspension list
Also updated the first post taking Chessum OFF the injured list... that's something I enjoy doing.
Only worry to me is Cronin's absence from the team announced today...

Re: 22/23 Injury & Suspension list
Have just been through and updated the new fixtures on the weeks our Internationals are away in the 6 Nations...
Of our 5 affected games:
1 is the England Training week pre-6N
Home vs Saints
2 of them are in the 6N bye weeks:
Home vs Sarries
Home vs Bath
So all of those 3 weeks we have Tommy Reffell available, plus the bye weeks we get any releases from the England. Those could be massive for us because of the games involved for us (also who from England gets released to Sarries and Bath also...)

Article (minus paywall) in the Times with an interview with Pollard saying he won't be fit till the new year.

There's no direct quote from Pollard saying new year there though it's probably not far from the truth. Maybe Clermont at home being the earliest we'll see him.TigerFeetSteve wrote: ↑Wed Nov 30, 2022 4:13 pm https://archive.ph/hczDb

I know but one wonders if there was an off the record comment that led to it being statedsam16111986 wrote: ↑Wed Nov 30, 2022 6:51 pmThere's no direct quote from Pollard saying new year there though it's probably not far from the truth. Re: 22/23 Injury & Suspension list
I'd imagine that something suitably vague was said as Pollard will be aware that Borthwick doesn't like to discuss injuries and recovery time.TigerFeetSteve wrote: ↑Wed Nov 30, 2022 8:28 pmI know but one wonders if there was an off the record comment that led to it being statedsam16111986 wrote: ↑Wed Nov 30, 2022 6:51 pmThere's no direct quote from Pollard saying new year there though it's probably not far from the truth. Glad to remove Dan Kelly from the Injured list.
Have added Cronin to it though unfortunately.

Completely different to all the chat on here the last few days.. anyone seen the outcome of Van Wyk's citing?
Normally done Tuesday or Wednesday evening the hearings so assuming we'll hear this morning latest?

Re: 22/23 Injury & Suspension list
Instagram footage of Dolly doing some heavy duty weights work. Obviously a way off returning to play but moving in the right direction. Looks like he has bulked up a bit to me.
Re: 22/23 Injury & Suspension list
Dolly has been doing weights and various other exercises for ages now so hopefully somewhere near match fitness.

Van Wyk banned for 3 weeks - can be reduced to two on completion of a course

Re: 22/23 Injury & Suspension list
As predicted the hand in the face on Chessum was adjudged fair game
Without hope we are nothing, keep the faith, a Tiger for eternity
Re: 22/23 Injury & Suspension list
And Owen Williams. Pleaded guilty of having hand on face in a ruck and got a ban as deemed wreckless as could not see where his hand was. Bristol player could not see where his hand was and it was over the eye area so foul play.
Very similar to Cole having his leg lifted in a maul by Marler. Clare Hobnet says OK as it was put down. When actually it is a straight penalty for dangerous play.
