Tiger's in the not so distant past had a small forum of fans to consider new kit designs, there were only about a dozen or so of us and i was never certain what they did with the dozen or so different opinions. I do remember being the only voice against a black away kit on the grounds that too many of our opponents wore black Saracens, Worcester, Falcons, Wasps with London Irish in a very dark (nearly black) green but I was told the players liked it and it was adopted, not sure if it was ever worn but the previous years white based away kit got an extension to its life.

I always enjoy this thread. Almost a ‘is it that time of year already’ post. “Don’t like it” “Not as good as last years” “Why can’t they go back to (insert favourite kit)”. I like the new “too green” post - don’t think we’ve had that one before. Though we should be ashamed that we haven’t had the 30 posts as “why haven’t they got letters on them like proper tigers” post yet. I always mull how many who don’t like it see it a few times in the crowd and then buy it - I know I usually do :smt023

Personally, I now like last years kit because we WON THE PREM and got to the QF of the European CHAMPIONS cup. So it will always be there when I watch a certain drop goal for the 000th time. That said, I think the quality of the kits by Samurai are far better than before.

Interestingly, my favourite kit was one I initially detested but it then grew on me throughout the season. The blue away kit from 2020/21 with the multicoloured stripes. And I now love it.

I think it will look better in real life than being photographed

The alternative kit is perfect for me this year, it’s now tradition for my daughter to buy me one of the shirts for Christmas, it’s always the ‘colourful’ one. No arguments over getting Christmas jumpers this year :smt003

Bit underwhelmed at first look but will wait till I see it in the flesh. Already have numerous shirts so probably won’t buy it. Think they could have been a bit more adventurous but hey ho no doubt it will appeal to some.

I would go for that too. Hope someone takes it on board. May be only a steady seller so could be in a classic pattern and be over several years.

Underwhelmed. I would have thought that the design could be a bit more brighter and intricate? The Bears shirt form last season was something along the lines that I was hoping for. I have plenty of Tigers striped. looped designs etc so I won't be paying out for this one.

This probably doesn't belong in this section but not sure where else to put it. There is a much repeated ad on Sky Sports for "Fanatics" a company that seems to specialise in replica sportswear. The advert features various sportsmen and sportswomen modelling kit. Not sure whether they are "real" sports people or models but one of them bears a striking resemblance to our very own HARRY WELLS. Could it be him, I wonder? Has anyone else noticed the resemblance?

It's probably a little too soon to ask, but I will anyway. Do we know if there will be a "classic" version of the shirt? I am still wearing my old Cotton Traders shirts, but like many others, it is showing holes in various places and I could do with an update.
