He has very good basic skills but Jimmy Gopperth is going to have to teach him how to unlock a defence. He follows the game plan very well but looks quite rigid. Big defender.
I think Schalk Brits mentioned patience, Borthwick will tell him you don’t have to score everytime.
He does have a very good all round game and showed a range of passing today

Advantage over when kicking a penalty through seems a bit harsh there. Most refs would have called that back. Hope the score is a bigger diff that 7 by the end.

USA 19-14 Chile at HT.

The Eagles dominated the opening 30, and looked to be coasting into Pool D, but Chile had a stellar 10 minutes with a man advantage. They put away two great tries to drag themselves back in the hunt!
