IDK about far better than Dolly.
Dolly was pretty impressive before injury.

I would have thought that Oghre would have been a far better back-up for Montoya than Dolly, Clare & co.
Possibly but we may not have the cap to sign him for anything other than Taufete'e injury cover.

I'm not convinced he's better than Dolly though. Maybe better than Clare (certainly should if he develops become a better player than Clare)

What these 6 weeks will do is give us a real in depth look at him against our current hookers and when it comes to next season we can possibly see if he's interested, as he'll also see who Tigers are and what they're about.
Used to run around with an 11, 14 or 15 on my back.

It might well be that this is an extended trial for Oghre. Gets some experience of the system and we get a good look at him. TCD and maybe Taufete'e aren't guaranteed to return next season so perhaps something will be agreed with Oghre for next season if he impresses. He can then go to France for a stint and gain some more experience before returning.

I'd hope so as his style of play is similar to Dolly's and that has worked well for us previously.

Oghre is very similar to Thacker in that he could easily play in the backrow if required

He's a similar height and weight to Nic Dolly and like Dolly played openside for us on a couple of occasions Oghre did for Wasps.

Not sure he or any other hooker in the league is as explosive as Thacker but Dolly and Oghre are more physical.

Any chance Nemani was acting as DK's injury dispensation....Salary Cap wise?
To win is not as important as playing with style!

Rugby Times saying OHC is a done deal but Loader is staying at LI.

Be interesting if Watson stays on or after the WC or goes abroad for a big day. Couldn’t blame him if he did but would mean he’d need replacing too.

Gary has been at the Club for over 15 years and it was confirmed he has left in a media notice today. Wishing him all the best for the future.

Interesting not everyone liked him but I’ve always got on with Gary. I wonder how long this has been on the cards as Borthwicks attitude towards player information can’t have helped him carry out his role.

I had the pleasure of working with Gary many moons ago and have stayed in touch since we parted ways. Always helpful and will be a loss to Tigers. All the best in your future endeavours.
