Taufete'e is an interesting case. The only time he's played more than 7 minutes (before he got injured) was when he came on for Pollard once we'd run out of replacements at Sarries. I think he may end up well down the pecking order and off again next summer perhaps?

Unusual for us to sign players on a single year deal? Would have to think Taufete'e has another year

Taufete'e is an interesting one.

He's not played many minutes for us, but we signed him late in the off season so he may well have missed chunks of the pre-season.

Hooker is a position especially on lineouts where you need to drill and drill and drill to get timings etc right. It may be that Borthwick likes him just wanted to get his set piece bang on first before too much gametime.

Then he got injured. I think it's fair to say he's behind a few guys but I wouldn't write him off just yet.
Used to run around with an 11, 14 or 15 on my back.

... and I wouldn't imagine he's a low earner. Experienced international, World Rugby Player of the Year nominee, been playing in France.

Yeah. I'm not sure he's offering value for money at the moment.

He came over from Major League Rugby in the States where salaries are much lower than they are here.

Pretty sure he's in Leicester still, not sure when exactly he leaves, but was in Leicester last week.

Taufete'e came as a probable third choice hooker , I cannot see Him being a big earner from.our cap. He has been unlucky with injury just at the time he would have been used. There is still plenty of the season to go and we will need a minimum of four hookers to ensure having two fit for each match, five would be better and six may not be too many.

he wasn't getting used at hooker when he was on the bench for us instead we had Clare going 80
