Of the 11 additions to the senior academy programme, eight players are graduates from last season’s academy programme who represented Leicester Tigers in the 21/22 Under-18 League campaign.

In addition, the senior academy welcomes three new additions in George Daniels, Riley Williams and Rob Carmichael.

Carmichael is from Hong Kong, which may explain why he disappeared and has now come back!

He was in the under 18s team and then seems to have disappeared before returning, may well have gone back to HK briefly. The England under 19s squad in April had him listed as a Tiger.

Seb Smith is listed as a Hooker now in the article, anybody know if he has switched positions?

Hadn't noticed that initially. I think it's more likely a typo, but with Dolly and Montoya both likely away in the AI's, Clare likely won't play Prem Cup, probably not Cowan-Dickie either if they can leave him out, so he may have more chance getting a first team game sooner at Hooker than Loosehead, where it's unlikely we'll lose any Looseheads for the AI's

Highly unlikely that Dolly will be missing during the AIs. Firstly his fitness to play enough to get back into contention, secondly he is behind George and Cowan Dickie at the very least, with the likes of Blamire and Singleton on the scene too

I think it more likely that he'll be missing due to injury than international, but think Eddie has him marked for future development, so once back fit I do think Eddie will have him back in the fold pretty quickly.

Had a look through Jersey's website.

George Daniels made his debut in March for them (a friendly match midseason), came on off the bench, he actually came on for Jersey's 13, so not sure if they had a reshuffle, but he may well also cover other positions beyond the listed Fly half and fullback.

Similar to the last world cup Eddie wants a third choice hooker that can cover the backrow. Singleton played backrow in some of the friendlies before the tournament. Allows for squad flexibility when the party is limited by numbers. Dolly can drop into 7 when required.
