I wonder if Montoya needs some work on his Knee post Internationals
To win is not as important as playing with style!

Just for the purposes of comparison, casting a glance at Saints - they have seven hookers listed on the books: four in the senior team plus three in their senior academy (tweet on August 3)
We have two in the senior academy (I think) plus four in the senior team, of whom Dolly is injured and Montoya likely absent. So in my opinion, we do need two, even if one - as it appears - is short term. Of course, Saints numbers may mean v little...

That's a very good shout. It's coming up 6 months he's been playing with a niggle now, much rather he have time off now and be fit come Feb etc.
Used to run around with an 11, 14 or 15 on my back.

Do we now have the full team for 2022/23? With the additions at hooker, I am a lot happier and see no obvious weakness. Surprises in terms of international call-ups might complicate. A year ago I think we all expected GF wouldn't be so available so much...

Think so, Taufete'e covering Tighthead is also useful, with Heyes likely away much more with England, behind Cole is Leatigaga, Hurd & Hoyt.

I'm still unconvinced by Leatigaga on that side, so another with experience there is great!

Obviously much more to it than size but tipping the scales at 19 stone he certainly has the bulk

I still think that back row is a player light.

Chessum will be back game week 3 and Weise at start of December, that's if Weise does the European series with SA they might opt to mix it up given the number of options at 8 and the third and fourth choice having only a couple of caps between them.

Wells could also drop to 8 in an emergency and there's other academy players plus Notts loans.

I would expect to see Wiese in October Sam between the 2 international windows

Yes good point, we might see him for a bit then.
