That's my view, for what it's worth! Can't see there being room in many sides cap for someone costing £300k without academy credits!

No player is irreplaceable, but you never want to lose players that have come through the academy and got to Stewards level.
There's always that, "we made him" thing. Obvs a player of Stewards caliber would have probably made it any where but he didn't, he did it here!

I believe it's a 2 year break before you can be another Premiership Club's marquee player.

Yes, you can't be a marquee player if you have played for a different Prem club in the last 2 seasons.
Worth pointing out that the situations at Worcester and Wasps etc may drastically alter player wages and demands as a glut of players may be entering the market. That may reduce what players contracts endy up going for.
Used to run around with an 11, 14 or 15 on my back.

It's worth remembering that Steward has only recently got back from his holidays and joined up with the squad. His agent has probably been the main element of the negotiations so far. Some discussions with Borthwick about his future at the club might help smooth the process a long a bit and help find the middle ground.

This is an excellent point.
IMHO Steward should sign up again now for a 10 year contract with us while he still can get the current wages :)
