Jed Walsh must be pretty highly rated considering how little he's played since arriving in the UKmarkharbtiger wrote: ↑Mon Jun 20, 2022 8:24 pm Good to see three tigers named, with Ilione the captain for England for the games this summer

He's been on loan to Leicester Lions in the National 2 league, same place JvP, Whitcombe and Martin went after leaving the academy.kpj tiger wrote: ↑Mon Jun 20, 2022 8:56 pmJed Walsh must be pretty highly rated considering how little he's played since arriving in the UKmarkharbtiger wrote: ↑Mon Jun 20, 2022 8:24 pm Good to see three tigers named, with Ilione the captain for England for the games this summer

Re: Tigers in U20 England team
Do we know why Sam Edwards didn’t make the squad? Thought he looked the sharpest of the 9s in the U20 Six Nations.
Cheering on the Tigers in Detroit.
Previously a slower, shorter, less good looking version of Tom Croft.

Re: Tigers in U20 England team
There's a few surprises in the squad. No Baxter or Cassius Cleaves from Quins. No Diego Bailey from Bristol ( he might be too old now). No Edwards or Cusick from us, as you say Edwards looked sharp and seemed to work his way into the starting 9 shirt over the J6N and Cusick had a good partnership with Grayson.No6_Flanker wrote: ↑Thu Jun 23, 2022 2:05 pm Do we know why Sam Edwards didn’t make the squad? Re: Tigers in U20 England team
Yeah, I was slightly surprised that Fin Baxter wasn’t in the squad, given that he captained them in the 6 Nations, although his scrummaging was pretty terrible so there’s that.sam16111986 wrote: ↑Thu Jun 23, 2022 3:58 pm There's a few surprises in the squad. Also glad that Fin Smith hasn’t been swayed by Gregor Townsend.

Ilione at 7 is interesting.

Re: Tigers in U20 England team
It feels like ilione is the next player destined to storm up through the rankings.
But where will he get the game time?
I could see him being Reffell's replacement should he have to move to Wales.

Did someone say that he could even move away from the game into a profession?RagingBull wrote: ↑Fri Jun 24, 2022 5:34 pm It feels like ilione is the next player destined to storm up through the rankings.
