Didn't realise anyone was still naive enough to employ him as a coach :smt003

Why do I always hear the dulcet tones of Clive Norling when I see Robinson’s name. “BRITISH LION OR NOT ETC”

A good coach but not necessarily a great head coach. He did a good job at Edinburgh and a passable job at Bristol. England was a disaster but Scotland started off well before ending in disappointment.

If Sinfield were to take the top job then having Robinson to the end of the season as an advisor Lancaster/Cullen style wouldn't be the worst idea. There may well be better ideas mind.

Not for me I’m afraid. Always came over as being a very angry man.

New Zealand rugby union have refused Beauden Barrett’s request to play abroad but still be able to represent the All Blacks.
They felt it would set a dangerous precedent

Good for them! They are always happy to let players go and top up their pension pots (usually pre RWC year) before coming back to play for the ABs so I have no problem with it.

Shame I was looking forward to all 3 Barrett brothers playing for us next season.....
To win is not as important as playing with style!

Rumours on the Bath board that they have signed Finn Russell for £1M per season. What salary cap.

Yes but it is outside the cap so is fair game, he wouldn't be the first £1M player in the prem.

I thought it was the centre Randrana that was on a million, anyway one or the other.
Didn’t Racing announce earlier this week that they had extended Russell contract for a million a year
