We aren't exactly short of props though. We've got three specialist tightheads and another two that can play both sides.

If they've got the money then he'd be a great fit for Falcons.

Fin Smith confirmed at Saints
Used to run around with an 11, 14 or 15 on my back.

Would be a strange move at his stage of career and with the World Cup looming.

Or potentially has been discarded as he's looking to move to Stade? Contracts usually start July 1st so presumably would need to sign a contract for later in the season after the RWC to be eligible.

I'd be surprised if Sam Simmonds for instance is involved much beyond injury cover if Billy or Dombrandt were crocked.

Tom Howe and Andrew Kitchener sign for Saracens from Worcester. Amazes me Sarries have any spare cash left within the cap? Just saying.

It would be nice if Prem Rugby published at the end of each month a list of all teams current salary cap totals.

The NFL publishes teams cap levels and also individual players contract amounts are known - there's no realistic reason why PL rugby can't publish the cap levels without going to the player level detail to aid transparency. Won't happen, of course, but it should.

That was my exact line of reasoning for it as well, but as you say it is not going to happen unfortunately.

Neither players Likely to get prem offers from elsewhere honestly and only a couple months each so don’t see why they can’t fit them in the cap

Is Stephen Lewies injury another bad one then? Presume it would need to be an injury dispensation signing.
