Which then opens up the question around LCDs future. I know Exeter are haemorrhaging a ton of players but will their retained players and any recruitment give them enough cap to offer him the sort ot deal he'd be looking for?
LCD did himself no favours after a night on the town followed by B&B in the Montpellier Gendarmerie, and allegedly missing his medical for which the club directors were not amused. Not very professional, is it!

Telegraph are reporting that Sale could offer LCD a move if his Montpellier deal falls through. Where the hell do they get their cap space from?!?!

Personally, I prefer salt and vinegar on my chips!
In my defence, I was left unsupervised….

Glasgow have just bought Ashman out of his contract. Might provide some breathing space for a contract though probably a modest one year deal to see him through until he can get the deal he wants ala Watson with us this season.

Ford, Tuilagi, Veainu.... looks like they're trying to hire our old backline...
Used to run around with an 11, 14 or 15 on my back.

How can Sale afford the likes of Veianu and LCD? Not to mention Manu,Ford, Hill to name but a few?

Sale for next season.

Players In
England Sam Bedlow from England Bristol Bears
South Africa Ernst van Rhyn from South Africa Stormers

Players Out
Scotland Ewan Ashman to Scotland Edinburgh
England Will Cliff retiring
Scotland Byron McGuigan retiring
South Africa Jono Ross retiring
England Dominic Barrow released
England Ben Carlile released
Scotland Elliot Gourlay released
England Sam Hill released
England Ryan Mills released
England Matt Postlethwaite released
England Kieran Wilkinson released
New Zealand Jason Woodward released

Based on that it would suggest that they will have some salary cap remaining to spend. Depending on how long Weise is out for then they may have some injury dispensation money immediately available at the start of next season as well, Ernst van Rhyn being someone who could be seen as a replacement.

Looks like the tax men have eventually caught up with Wasps director and BT commentator Lawrence Dallaglio for £700k.
That beats the Wasps debt too!

Don’t know about you Sam but I would be surprised if we saw any formal announcements now before June 1st when Mckellar officially starts
