If the company that's in administration has a player request a move away though it would be immediately accepted pretty much by the administrator as it reduces the creditors on the company. So as it would then be entirely the administrators decisions, not the owners or the club.
Used to run around with an 11, 14 or 15 on my back.

They aren’t in administration though, Worcester are suspended from playing but not in admin.

Wasps have filed an intention to enter but aren’t in it yet

Worcester aren't in administration? They have appointed administrators: https://warriors.co.uk/2022/09/26/club-statement-12/

Or would a player under contract be classed as an asset and only be permitted to move without a transfer fee after the terms of his current contract have been so breached that it can be considered terminated?

Wuss website says they've asked DCMS to appeal to the court to appoint administrators. They are in administration.

Not a guarantee they'll just let any players leave either. The player contracts are an asset and dispensing of those assets for nothing makes the value of the company drop in the eyes of potential buyers. Now they might well let a couple go in exchange for compensation which they can use to help keep payroll being met.

Ollie Lawrence gave quite an open interview on The Rugby Pod about it where they discussed things like player insurance when they played at that last game weekend, when they knew about the suspension, players potentially moving on, contract breaches, etc.

As previously reported the contracts allow for players to be paid up to 2 weeks late without breaching contracts - so far that 2 week deadline has been met. Being suspended from the league also isn't a breach of contract.

Lawrence said several players have asked about moving elsewhere with some being turned down and one player granted release - presumably Hatherell.

Lawrence also mentioned that some players have spoken to Diamond about potentially going on loan to keep getting game time or simply going to another club in the mean time so they can keep training full time even if they don't play.

Malins is rumoured to be leaving Sarries and going back to Bristol (who he was with on loan when Sarries were in the Championship)

May indicate Pietau moving on, he is very expensive given how much time he spends on the treatment table

Isn't Sinckler also rumoured to be leaving?

Hadn’t heard that one. He doesn’t appear that happy at Bristol, and he wasn’t named in the England training squad, unless I missed him, could be off to France, Quins are stacked with tight heads so doubt they would have him back.

He’s another one like Pietau wonderful talent but doesn’t appear to be fit half the time.

Well the rumour was that Borthwick wanted him here.

Interesting and may fit in with the rumours of Coles retirement. He is an undoubted talent but likely as not moved to Bristol for the £s. In the right environment he is young enough to flourish again.
