Yea strange that the wording was “banned from playing in France”. Does that mean he could perhaps play elsewhere? Medical issues would all come under one umbrella surely

I guess that the French union can only issue such a ban for their jurisdication but if it is a serious matter then I suspect other unions would follow suit. That said, Eriksen can play football in the premier league but his heart condition prevents him playing in Italy so not the same across the board.

Something to do with medical insurance isn't it? Didn't Figallo join Sarries after being told he'd have to retire in France or is my memory failing?

Think someone said Max Lahiff was banned from representing a French club due to a medical insurance thing, yet plays fine over here.

We'll see if he retires or moves elsewhere
Used to run around with an 11, 14 or 15 on my back.

That confused me as well. Glad he is able to play again but if he has been symptom free for 8 months, why have we not seen him in a Tigers shirt since Xmas.

👀👀👀 that’s arguably the best BR in world club rugby now. It was pretty good to begin with!

Apparently it might be insurance related?
