Other Fixtures 25th to 27th March 2022
For those that don’t follow the rugby down under one of the 2 new teams formed this season , Moana Pasifika have won their first match beating the Huricanes in golden point extra time. Few names I recognised including George Stowers and Christian Leialeafano

Brilliant news

Gloc v Wuss off? Yes,Wuss can’t field 6 front rowers. Does this mean Gloc get 5 points?

If it goes by last season, score would be recorded as 0-0 and Gloucester awarded 4 points with 2 points awarded to Worcester.

Be crazy if Gloc missed out on the playoffs by one point! They could argue that they would’ve won the game with a TBPTigerbeat wrote: ↑Fri Mar 25, 2022 3:15 pmIf it goes by last season, score would be recorded as 0-0 and Gloucester awarded 4 points with 2 points awarded to Worcester.

Worcester at full strength would have given them a game. They should be thankful for the 4 points, for doing absolutely nothing.

Gloc at home is a 5 pointer for me all daywestwinds31 wrote: ↑Fri Mar 25, 2022 3:52 pm Worcester at full strength would have given them a game. They should be thankful for the 4 points, for doing absolutely nothing.

Re: Other Fixtures 25th to 27th March 2022
Is 4-2 split confirmed? The statement from Glaws read that the fixture had been forfeited by Worcester, not the wording used previously on covid cancellations? With rules being completely different now are these definitely 4-2 points
Used to run around with an 11, 14 or 15 on my back.

Re: Other Fixtures 25th to 27th March 2022
It doesn’t matter whether Worcester get 2, 0 or 22 points, they’re not going down. Glaws however, that 4 points could mean 5th place for another club, or 5th place for Glos by point.
Re: Other Fixtures 25th to 27th March 2022
Hopefully the points will be allocated based on the rules that all the clubs agreed on before the start of the season, rather than on whether some people on the internet think Glouc would have got 4 or 5 points...

Exactly as I earlier postedwestwinds31 wrote: ↑Fri Mar 25, 2022 5:02 pm It doesn’t matter whether Worcester get 2, 0 or 22 points, they’re not going down. Glaws however, that 4 points could mean 5th place for another club, or 5th place for Glos by point.

Counter argument. Gloucester get given 5 points for this game, and end the season in 4th place by 1 point over London Irish. London Irish however only got 4 points in their game at home to Bath due to covid earlier in the season, a Bath team at that point in time who had failed to win a single game. Would that be fair? I'd have said that 5 points was more likely for London Irish then, than Gloucester now (give improvements shown under Steve Diamond from Worcester)Scott1 wrote: ↑Fri Mar 25, 2022 5:24 pmExactly as I earlier postedwestwinds31 wrote: ↑Fri Mar 25, 2022 5:02 pm It doesn’t matter whether Worcester get 2, 0 or 22 points, they’re not going down. No it wouldn't,that's why even though I was against it at first it should be 5-0 as per European rulesTigerFeetSteve wrote: ↑Fri Mar 25, 2022 5:52 pmCounter argument. However given one rule has already been implemented this season, at very least you have to assume it'll be consistent throughout.Scott1 wrote: ↑Fri Mar 25, 2022 6:17 pmNo it wouldn't,that's why even though I was against it at first it should be 5-0 as per European rulesTigerFeetSteve wrote: ↑Fri Mar 25, 2022 5:52 pmCounter argument.
