completely lost it, Borthwick started it by putting JvP on for Burns it was just baffling, Hegarty since he went to 10 has been woeful. Decision making in the stands has lost this game as much as on the pitch.

I hope someone in the media has the stones to ask about that Burns sub

No leadership on the park, poor finish, some work to do next week, lack of concentration too.

A team of complete muppets in that 2nd half, clueless game management and control, unforced errors and missed tackles galore, some of SB subs questionable too.

My prediction of seeing it out if we were within 5 with 20 to go aged well.

Disastrous subs - burns going off with JVP at full back hasn’t worked and neither has Porter at centre. Hegarty at fly half has backfired too

Obviously if there were injuries then ok, but don’t think Burns had any knocks by his reaction.

Credit to SB for nearly all the decisions to date but he owns these to be honest.

Criminal game mis-management, by the players not putting chances away and seemingly by the coaches with a strange substitution.

Game management evaporated when Burns went off. Why did we change a winning formula.

JVP at fullback is just a bizarre call.

Yet certain posters were convinced it was the way to go. We were up n down with Burns at 10 but at least there were sparks as well as damp squibs.

Ah well.

It proves at least that Hegarty is a better full back than 10!

Agree with all previous posts. Lot of respect for the coaching team but the decision to take Freddie off and put JVP to full back ultimately cost us the game.

Socino is a 10/12 and hasn't come off the bench. Why the hell is he there if not to replace Burns?
