Just watched the last ten minutes again!
Must say Tom Foley was superb: didn’t let Bristol waste time. Well done Mr. Foley.

What the hell happened? I stopped the car and checked the score- 33/23 and I said, oh xxxx, first loss of the season, then arrive at my destination and it’s 26/28? Thank you for a detailed explanation 😊

Apart from at every scrum and half the lineouts where a Bristol player needed a splash of water from the medics. Not to mention the ball kicked onto the field as Montoya was about to throw in at the lineout. Bristol knew they didn't have the bench so tried to buy time for them to recover at every opportunity.

Some of these posts aged well ! Moral of the story, always play until the final whistle goes. Will watch later as missed it due to family visit. Sweet sweet victory though.

I thought we were much the better team in the first half and to down at HT was not representative of the game.
Second half we were a bit scratchy , quite a few handling errors and not helped by the erratic reffing of the scrum where we generally had the upper hand (the free kick was bizarre reffing). Thought we had lost it when Wiese get the yellow card but this team had incredible belief and to carry on pushing for the win in the 81st/82nd/83rd and 84th minute is credit to the coaching staff. Both my dad and myself screamed “up yours Lam” when Porter scored :smt026 :smt026 :smt026

I genuinely thought we were 33-23 down. Had to pick Grandson up and had Flashscore on phone, looks like it got Robespierre too. I would've never written us off at 26-23

Scott I know you’ve sort of answered this before and admitted you don’t watch many games but where do you get your match day information ? CEEFAX or TELETEXT ? 🙈

Easier said than done but you really got to trust these players even when we were playing so sloppy they kept at it and showed massive heart.

Will try and trust the lads for the full 80 in the future but I really didn't want Bristol to be the team to end the run!

Sheedy kicking a ball on should have been dealt with, he was smirking away after nothing was done, most teams have their tricks but when caught it should be dealt with.

Even though Foley was watching close up, it was Wigglesworth who dived in to tell Stinckler not to undo his bootlaces so he could waste more time doing them up again (does he know how?).

Tigers put it right at the death though.

Please tell me there's a picture or video of Pat Lam at the end of the game. Saw Steve grinning, but in the interests of balanced reporting?
