Maybe get his old mate Nemani to have a word. I’d imagine he’d have lots of good things to say about the trip from Montpellier to Tigers!

Nothing to hide is there. Well known we need a quality flyhalf, well known he’s leaving Montpellier.

1. Did he take a pay cut or was it for 1 season?
2. That would get you nearly any player in the world bar a handful.

And it was reported we had offered him more to stay so there must be a good £750k or so available to spend.. I would guess we would make the new FH our marquee player will Genge likely to be on maybe half that and only one slot available. Pollard would be a good signing and would be available during the 6N window which is a plus (albeit he would be away at other times)

Given Steve's tight lipped policy it wouldn't be the ideal way to start your Tigers career.. that being said following a club isn't exactly telling either way.. might just be keen to keep tabs on England's premier side

He'd miss the start of every season, come back in for a few games disappear for the AIs and then be available the rest of the season. Probably missing less games than an England international would but he would miss pre season.

I don't see any point in looking at Finn Smith. We've brought Lancaster in as the "young up and coming 10", so don't see the point in bringing another one in. I agree that you don't necessarily need a world-class 10 to be successful. We've had Goodey and Flood, to name two that were very good, international standard at one time or another but weren't necessarily world class, but could drive a team around the park, kick goals and produce the odd moment of magic. If I were Hegarty or Burns, I'd be jumping up and down with joy.

Flood at one point was world class. Things have changed a lot since the days of Andy Goode. The quality across the entire league has improved immensely since then, not just the top teams.

Surely if that criteria is accepted how does the subjective views of our forum members get analysed and prioritised?

Is the judgement a direct association to International Teams making number 1 always an All Black?
