Mike Williams seems like he'll be banned after his red vs Wasps
Used to run around with an 11, 14 or 15 on my back.

If they are back would go with
1. Van Wyk, 2. Cowan-Dickie, 3. Cole
4. Green, 5. Henderson
6. Chessum, 7. Reffell, 8. Brink
9. Wigg, 10. Ford
12. Socino, 13. Kelly
11. Nadolo, 14. Potter, 15. Burns
16. Clare, 17. Leatigaga, 18. Heyes
19. Wells/Snyman, 20. Evans
21. JVP, 22. Hegarty, 23. Murimurivalu
If Liebenberg is somehow fit would start him at 8 and have brink on the bench

Nice 23,I’m sure Porter will be in there somewhere though if he’s fit. I believe he was ever present in the 23s until his injuryRagingBull wrote: ↑Sat Oct 30, 2021 6:48 pm If they are back would go with

Re: Bath - Home - 05th November 2021
Given TCD came on for Wells, one assumes that he went off for the reason he was down injured (when the ref allowed Saints to restart when we were already only at 14 with him)
Based on that I'd definitely give him the weekend off, in Snyman, Green & Henderson we have 3 good options without risking Wells getting a knock.

Not ahead of either winger. Would give Socino a rare start and Kelly stays in for me. So it's Porter or Murimurivalu in the 23 shirt. Tight call and would be happy with either but personally I would give it to Kini I think. If Porter is fit I could maybe see Borthwick opting for Kelly at 12 and Porter at 13 perhaps but I'd like to see Socino get a start. Porter is better defensively though so either would be good

Great having all these options! I think Borths rates Porter though, could be wrong but I think he was involved in every squad before his injury. I’m happy that whoever Borths picks they are are gonna bring the heat!

Re: Bath - Home - 05th November 2021
Bath Rugby injury list correct as of 29 Oct 21:
Taulupe Faletau (nearing return to training)
Jaco Coetzee (nearing return to training)
Joe Simpson (nearing return to training)
Ben Spencer (nearing return to training)
Will Spencer (back running again)
Tom Ellis (short term)
Ruaridh McConnochie (short term)
Tom Doughty (short term)
Cameron Redpath (back running again)
Tian Schoeman (back running again)
Ethan Staddon (back running again)
Beno Obano
Anthony Watson
Joe Cokanasiga
Lewis Boyce
Johannes Jonker
Unavailable on international duty:
England:
Charlie Ewels
Sam Underhill
Will Stuart
Scotland:
Josh Bayliss
Unavailable suspension:
Mike Williams
Bath looking pretty thin on the ground although from reading the update it sounds like at least one of Spencer or Simpson will be available for the Tigers match. 4 big names missing in their pack though and Williams missing now also.
Likely to have a back line of something like:
9. Simpson/Spencer
10. Cipriani
11. Muir
12. Ojomoh
13. Joseph
14. Rokoduguni
15. De Glanville
That’s a pretty solid back line if they can get it firing. Reckon we will have the edge up front once again and hopefully that should give us the edge for this one. Let’s see how many recoveries there are from that list.. if it’s anything like the healing power Saints had after all their niggles and dings they’ll all be fully fit!

Re: Bath - Home - 05th November 2021
Going to be a tough ask given the amount of players now lost to the test window. Bath have been awful and are also missing plenty of players though. Think we need to play a simple game plan, Ford, Burns, Wigs play territory and keep them pinned back in their own half. Keep the score board ticking over and hopefully a couple of lineout tries should get us the eighth win before the premiership break.

Chessum Liebenberg (c) Reffell

Bath are missing far more than us and I really feel we have much better strength in depth than most clubs this season, in particular BathLeicestertinytiger wrote: ↑Sun Oct 31, 2021 10:54 am Going to be a tough ask given the amount of players now lost to the test window.
