Looking forward to going back to Welford Road, a good and loud attendance, and a good game!

Re: Tigers vs Dragons - Saturday 4th September
I can see more or less full rotation here to try and give every squad member a game before more or less 1st choice by Scarlets on the 9th - or at least I would!
Something like:
15 - Steward
14 - van Wyk
13 - Taute
12 - Kelly
11 - Potter
10 - Ford
9 - Law
8 - Liebenberg (C)
7 - Smith
6 - Brink
5 - Snyman
4 - Green
3 - Cole
2 - Clare
1 - Whitcombe
16 - Youngs
17 - Genge
18 - Heyes
19 - Henderson
20 - Manz
21 - Ilione
22 - Wigglesworth
23 - Hegarty
24 - Murimurivalu
25 - Nadolo
26 - Olowofela
Unsure that Borthwick will go for a larger than 23 squad too given he only selected 24 for the first preseason game.
Quality depth when you think about it as last week’s squad wasn’t bad at all!
Can’t wait to be back at Welford Road again!!

If Taute, Brink and Illione are involved, I would love to see them play.

Was such a shame for Ilione to get injured in the U20s - would love to see him in a Tigers shirt more this season!
Also hope to see Jonny Law given some game time. He looked sharp in the Prem 7s last year and would be great for him to get some chances with the team this season.
Re: Tigers vs Dragons - Saturday 4th September
quick question, are tickets to the pre-season games included as part of the ST?

Pretty sure I saw somewhere that it is, I'll see if I can find the link
Used to run around with an 11, 14 or 15 on my back.

Brink is injured.
Without hope we are nothing, keep the faith, a Tiger for eternity
Re: Tigers vs Dragons - Saturday 4th September
they are but if you are in the crumbie or the terrace you have to select a seat elsewhere and print it out at home or collect it - the plastic season ticket won't work for those people
Hehehehehehehehe
Re: Tigers vs Dragons - Saturday 4th September
Taute is still rehabing according to Borthwick. I'm unsure on Brinks status though.
I'd hope for near enough full strength against Scarlets so this week against Dragons I'd focus on getting everyone game time. Something such as below for this weekend:
1.Whitcombe 2.Clare 3.Cole 4.Snyman 5.Green 6.Evans 7.Smith 8.Liebenberg (c)
9.Law 10.Ford 11.KvW 12.Kelly 13.Porter 14.Olowofela 15.Murimurivalu
16.Youngs 17.FvW 18.Heyes 19.Henderson 20.Martin 21.Ilione 22.Wigglesworth 23.Lancaster 24.Potter 25.Hegarty
Then for Scarlets something similar to:
1.Genge (c) 2.Youngs 3.Heyes 4.Wells 5.Green 6.Martin 7.Reffell 8.Liebenberg
9.JvP 10.Ford 11.Nadolo 12.Kelly 13.Scott 14.Potter 15.Steward
16.Clare 17.Leatigaga 18.Cole 19.Henderson 20.Smith 21.Youngs 22.Hegarty 23.Murimurivalu

Re: Tigers vs Dragons - Saturday 4th September
I think I'll simply be glad to get back to Welford Road and hopefully see some old friends and familiar faces again...
Seemingly heading rapidly toward senility .....Not long or far to go now , in fact, getting worse daily.....

Chessum at lock is interesting.
