Kevin Sinfield
Does anyone know when Kevin Sinfield will be arriving full-time? Looks like pre season drills and game plan are being implemented without his imput, which suggests he will largely have a skills imput initially, as he gets up to speed.

Re: Kevin Sinfield
Leeds I think said he was finishing the season there, which means he'll miss all of preseason and the first game I think?
Used to run around with an 11, 14 or 15 on my back.
Re: Kevin Sinfield
OK thanks for the info.
Re: Kevin Sinfield
Being reported on the Beeb that he leaves his role after this weekends match

Incredible stat here, top 3 tacklers in the league are all Tigers players. Great start to Sinfield's career here

It's been mentioned on this forum before BUT, Amazon Prime host a documentary called "Watch As Good As It Gets?" which focuses on the dominance of Leeds Rhinos in Rugby League. Kevin was a real hero of this period and features prominently in interviews. You get a good insight into the intelligence and steel this guy has.
Re: Kevin Sinfield
He's running the London Marathon today along with Jamie Peacock.

Re: Kevin Sinfield
Given a glowing reference by Borthwick on the bbc site today. Wonder if he would be in the frame for head coach if borthers left.

Re: Kevin Sinfield
Now Super Kev is going "The Extra Mile"... attempting to run 101 miles between Welford Road and Emerald Headingly Stadium in Leeds in Support of MND charities.
https://www.yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk/ ... se-3425491
https://donate.giveasyoulive.com/fundra ... -challenge
My story
I’ve set myself an initial target for ‘The Extra Mile Challenge’ of raising £100,000 as I run just short of four marathons back to back in a day. This challenge, inspired by Rob Burrow, will be raising money directly to benefit people living with MND.
Your support will be split equally between the Leeds Hospitals Charity appeal to build the Rob Burrow Centre for MND supporting people living with MND and their families, and the MND Association which funds multi-disciplinary care delivered at the Centre and others across the country, as well as research into potential treatments for the disease.
I’ll be attempting to run from Leicester’s home at Mattioli Woods Welford Road to Emerald Headingley Stadium in Leeds in 24 hours. Starting on Monday 22nd November, the run will be split into 7km segments, each must be completed within an hour before the next one starts on the hour. Originally, the journey was planned to cover a distance of 100 miles but the actual final distance covers 101 miles – hence the name of the Challenge.

Kevin Sinfield .. 101 miles
Caught Kevin on Breakfast TV earlier.. he will be doing 101miles non stop for MND..
This is obviously a continuation of his support for his old mate Rob Burrow.
I think it would be good if his new club “family “ supported him in this wonderful endeavour.
Hopefully the Club will publicise this well and tell everyone where they can contribute.
Good luck Kev.. stay healthy and raise plenty pal.
