Didn't they have fans at Ashton Gate when they played Gloucester on that Monday night ?

Looks like a COVID outbreak at Gloucs. Means that - if their game is postponed, Bath will only take 2 points...

Shame for Gloc, they would've fancied the win on their form. Still in our hands and I still believe 2 more points will nail top 8.

SO
Bath move up to 7th with 47 points with a game in hand.
It also means that Gloucester can't overtake us.

London Irish and Wasps face each other.
If Wasps or Irish end up with 0 points then we should be able to get top 8 regardless.

As Scott say 2 points means that Bath can't overtake us so we would be through.

Be nice to finish with a bang though and although I'm not sure on the 6-8 RCC seedings it would be nice to avoid a group of death. Although in a way I'd like to see how our pack matches up with the big dogs!

Well the question might be now London Irish since they played Gloucester last weekend.

No doubt Irish will be checked (aren't all player checked twice a week anyway).

The report says a number of positive tests in the playing group and staff so some onward transmission in the weekend game seems quite likely. :smt009

It got dropped back to once a week I think due to reduction in covid numbers

The LI players will have been tested but their exposure would have been Friday, so they may not yet be testing positive, we'll see who in the LI squad may be isolating, but hopefully they'll still be able to field a team, otherwise we could be looking at both Wasps & LI gaining on us
Used to run around with an 11, 14 or 15 on my back.

4/5 points and 2 points is the worst case for us re Wasps v Irish.

But saying that it's still really is in our hands.

The silver lining of the covid at Gloc outbreak may mean our fixture shunted to a main channel rather than "extra". It was the only one not on a main channel

That would be good. Whilst I am grateful that all games are shown I am tired of 'extra' broadcasts doing in on the cheap by roping in a resting one eyed home team player to assist with the commentary.

I wonder who is lined up to be our one eyed analyst.
