What I'd forgotten was back in the Autumn that Scotland freely allowed players to play in the Premiership final, but for this game they have to pay hundreds of thousands for only 5 players... it's not great all round tbh

The Scots are playing in English teams because England can't produce enough equally good players.
As for the PRL they asked for Scots to be released so English teams could have full squads a few months ago. No fees requested by the Scots but when this match came about there was a substantial fee made up because it was outside the international window.
For me France should have forfeited the wafflegate, Scotland take the points and the Welsh celebrate?

Forfeiting maybe would have been deserved but on the upside we do get to watch what is quite an engrossing game of rugby. As to the result and outcome of the 6 nations, it is what it is in these unusual times.
