And after the Quins second try, where were the leaders pulling everyone together? Nowhere. Who even are the leaders? We have a different captain every week.
So much experience, so little leadership.

Saracens and England prove you can as long as your defensive system is water tight, which ours isn't remotely close toDeadlyDunc wrote: ↑Sun Oct 04, 2020 3:53 pm IMO you can’t keep booting the ball away forcing yourselves to tackle twice as many times as the opposition and expect to win many games
We are putting so much pressure on our defence and tackling which is flaky at the best of times and it also kills any attacking shape and means Quins have made loads more metres and carries.
That said, what I don’t know about rugby could fill a room!

Tiglon think the reason was they expected it to be disallowed even though it had been given plus the team has forgotten how to celebrate as it's been so long since they had cause to. 40 mins left for them to practice

You compare the starting XVs this really shouldn't be a contest...

Team is low on confidence. As a coach, how do you change that? Get them to recognise and celebrate the small victories. Either the coaches aren't doing that, or the players aren't listening to them.Ashurstwoodtiger wrote: ↑Sun Oct 04, 2020 4:00 pm Tiglon think the reason was they expected it to be disallowed even though it had been given plus the team has forgotten how to celebrate as it's been so long since they had cause to. 40 mins left for them to practice
Watch Sarries or Exeter after every turnover, after meaningless try when a game is already won. They celebrate the tiniest win every single time. Result - confidence, more victories, more confidence, better results.
Basics. SB should have been all over this on day one.

The longer we have the ball the worse we look.
Let's not go down the running across the pitch to congratulate one another like Chiefs or the Cheats, that's not rugby, its wendyball.
