Can’t see a Premiership team offering him any better than a pay to play deal tbh.
Japan or France his only options and he does have family in France. Are Pau and Bayonne a long way apart ?

Always was in 2 minds about Manu. At his best he was a star for the club and responsible for one of my favorite nights at Welford Road (V South Africa with my now passed dad). but the way that he left after having spent so much of his time at the club on the sidelines still rubs a bit raw.

Manu confirmed no shock. Hope he does well and that French rugby is as good for his rehab as it was for Jonny W

And Ben Woods, formerly of this parish, has had to step down from his role due to a conflict of interests
“Current head coach Ben Woods, the former Newcastle and Leicester flanker, has been forced to quit his role at the behest of the RFU who say that his full-time role as a rugby agent represents a conflict of interests.

Regulation 8.5.13 (g) bars any player agent from being an official, employee or contracted party at any professional/semi-professional club. Woods’ assertion that the criteria shouldn’t apply to Tynedale, given the club’s amateur status, has fallen on deaf ears at Twickenham.”

So he has to step down for violating a rule which doesn’t apply to him? :smt017
Cheering on the Tigers in Detroit.
Previously a slower, shorter, less good looking version of Tom Croft.
