Can’t stand the Daily Fail but unfortunately when it comes to rugby they’re normally very reliable when it comes to their exclusives.
Re: Ackerman leaving Gloucester?
Can think of one major ball drop recently involving a stand off between club and players, but generally would agree.Leicestertinytiger wrote: ↑Fri May 15, 2020 8:04 am Can’t stand the Daily Fail but unfortunately when it comes to rugby they’re normally very reliable when it comes to their exclusives.
Wasn’t it a Mail journalist who first uncovered the Saracens problems

Players revolt.
Not good for Gloucester their season was on par with ours.

Re: Ackerman leaving Gloucester?
Anyone know what the player revolt was about?

Re: Ackerman leaving Gloucester?
All a bit of a worry for Gloucester fans - after it looked like they were on the up aswell.
Re: Ackerman leaving Gloucester?
Perception is a very strange thing as Gloucester have actually lost more games than Tigers

Another slant:

Clearly it was his decision to go.

Re: Ackerman leaving Gloucester?
Didn't win anything, if it was a Tigers coach then some would have called his initial improvement impact a 'dead cat bounce' or some such, Glaws then reverted to type and dropped down the table, Ackermann then turned tail and left at the first sign of another offer.
Not much loyalty, irrespective of how good he is viewed to be. Maybe by sheer luck or good judgement - based on whether we realistically considered him - our board got that one right? Will never know and it's easy to say these things with hindsight.
At least we ejected MO'C, he wanted to stay
Seems we may have had a lucky escape overall.

Faithless is he that says farewell when the road darkens.
