Well done Geordy for trusting the young lads. Does the result make that good management???
Not impressed with Vilojen yet but you cant coach size. Worth the development effort I reckon.

So what do I know about rugby- Nothing. I take back all my doubts, well done Tigers its great to get an away win. Did they award the MOM too soon, surely those 2 rips by Thomson should have rewarded hin? Well done again!
Re: European Challenge Cup - Cardiff vs Tigers
I thought the replacement of Lavanini and Genge would cost us the game. The next scrum looked like it and yet...……….
It gives me great pleasure to eat my words. Well done Tigers. Not pretty but some awsome shifts tonight by our boys.
They have really made my weekend.

Excellent result, excellent effort. Performance a little 'meh' here and there but fair play, they got the job done, and away from home. I don't care if Cardiff were strong or weak, good or poor. Result is king tonight, some minor momentum and confidence to carry forward.
There'll be some pre-scripted whinges getting stuck in the craw tonight. (I did say some, not all.....)

Absolutely - but, don't we all go on about Tigers sides of yesteryear winning tight games? We weren't great (neither were Cardiff, for that matter) but our second/third string beat Cardiff's first/second string. May only have been by 3 points but a win, is a win is a win (and all that)markharbtiger wrote: ↑Sat Nov 23, 2019 10:06 pm Take the win. But largely a match to forget aside from a few impressive individual performances

Re: European Challenge Cup - Cardiff vs Tigers
Winning moment was Costelow’s tackle, great hit from such a young player. Could be very special player in the 10 shirt, Hardwick shifting out to 12 in the future.
Best young player for me was Lewis. Needs to hit the gym but has good pace for a no.6, ideal in a drift defence. Going to be a massive confidence boost, hopefully we can carry this momentum into next week.

Nowadays referees decide matches, players by how much.

Agreed. I just wish it was less of a roller coaster ride for the sake of my blood pressure...longlivethecrumbie wrote: ↑Sat Nov 23, 2019 10:10 pmAbsolutely - but, don't we all go on about Tigers sides of yesteryear winning tight games? Excellent win, lots of guts, Guy Thompson is truly a Tiger of old. Hopefully this will kickstart a run of victories, with the must win derby next week.

The only use a prop can have for Viagra is that it stops him rolling out of bed. Cheeky monkey!G.K wrote: ↑Sat Nov 23, 2019 10:13 pmDid he also take your viagra then Dai?

Re: European Challenge Cup - Cardiff vs Tigers
It was a very good performance. To stay in touch from the 1st half and then gradually exert pressure during the second and then actually win it. I went from happy for a losing bonus point to very happy for a draw and then to win it with the last kick of the game!!!
Lewis looked good. Agree a bit more bulk will do him wonders. Heyes had a bit of an off game but Genge really went well. Wells and Lavinini both had very good games. Forsyth and Viljoen both good, Worth good, really no complaints all round.
Most impressive was the defence and Thompsons work over the ball.
