Odd selection, even if Eddie wanted Farrell at 10, would have thought Joseph at 13 given he’s in great form. Still have Daly’s left foot for kicking in the wide channels too.

I can see Slade being hauled off at halftime, can’t help thinking we would have needed Cokanasiga in that backline too.

Selection of Farrell at 10 and Lawes over Kruis both defensive in my opinion.
Worried about the hard running Aussie centres and the Aussie locks both do a lot of ball carrying

Still good enough to win imho but hugely disappointed for Ford and if England progress don’t think we’ll see him start again

Kerevi and Koriebete massive threats for England, depends who Cheika selects at flyhalf, if it’s Lealfiano we could be in a for a tight game. Unlike when we were kicked out in 2015 by the Aussies, I think the breakdown will at least be a more even contest.

Im disappointed with that selection. Ford is the best fly half and Manu is more destructive at 13.

My confidence for a victory has lessened now.

Seems an odd selection. Can't say I've ever been impressed with Slade at this level.

Well on the plus side, choosing Farrell at fly half probably means we’ll have our players back to Welford Road sooner.

Coaches live or die by these decisions , but personally can't say or believe that this side is based on current form.Whatever, fingers crossed and best of luck England.
Seemingly heading rapidly toward senility .....Not long or far to go now , in fact, getting worse daily.....

Feel very sorry for George as clearly our best 10 other than possibly his defensive tacking ( which I know has improved )
Is Eddy very fearful of the Aus centres where to be fair most of their creative work has come from.
Look forward to him coming on in second half and manipulating tired Australian legs about the field.

Umm could go either extremity for Cheika with Petaia.
